[ Sometime after their conversation about playing together, a few new additions appear near K's piano in the apartment that they share: a beautifully crafted violin with its own case, along with a music stand and a comfortably padded chair in case Viktor would still prefer to be seated when playing. ]

[ As the weather was starting to become cooler, Viktor had taken to wearing longer-sleeved t-shirts but still went barefoot. They partly covered the way that the metal of his body was starting to become skin. And not just any skin, it was shimmering in places if it caught the light just the right way. The more that K had been able to remove the Void taint, the more that the hard metal and magic of Viktor's body was giving way to only magic. His legs were more interesting than his hands and torso, since they had retained the darkened sky look and would have stars winking in their depths if you looked at them for long enough. It was fascinating that the metal had retreated enough to leave skin behind, but still framed one of Viktor's legs in gold. But despite that, he had a perfectly strong and straight gait retained from his year of having a fully metal body.

Right now, he was investigating the new instrument that was in its case and left in the seat of the padded stool that was sent out before its own music stand. He had opened the case and was curious about where the violin came from. ]
