K has also been having headaches from time to time. Sometimes I can tell when he's not fully feeling well thanks to our connection, but it's not as if I experience the pain myself. Could it be that your bond with him is different and you're sensing his pain?

I've noticed that on occasion with K, too. I want to see if fully immersing him in the Encantado river might help him with the migraines he's been experiencing since it's been a healing agent for those that have had their forms changed into something monstrous.

But other than headaches, no I am not in pain.

Neither did I, so I'm speculating. I don't want any of you to suffer. If Hawke's plant helps, that's great, but we need to figure out what could be wrong. At Amrita Academy, there might be someone who knows what causes the migraines. Or perhaps Mel's healing can help you?

[ Of course, Jayce is now trying to find options and solutions, even if he's not sure what the problem is. That's just how he is, he needs to try and do something. ]

If that river is so powerful, you both should soak in it. I can't go there easily since I am often unable to cross Exile.

It would be more beneficial to know what the source of the problem is, I'll grant you. Perhaps I could ask that K allows himself to be examined at Amarita for his migraines if I allow the same thing about my headaches.

I think that anything else, be it Mel's magic or the Encantado River, would only be a temporary solution.

Actually telling someone that I am in any pain is something that I've never been very good at.

[ Over the years he's been less and less able to hide it from Jayce, but that doesn't stop him from trying. ]
